Jul 07, 2025
This creamy, energizing cold brew coffee blends Mikuna Chocho Plant Protein with rich cold brew concentrate and organic ingredients for a protein-packed, plant-based drink. Infused with mesquite for a subtle caramel-like depth and sweetened with organic maple syrup, it’s a perfect morning or afternoon pick-me-up.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- Mikuna Chocho Plant Protein: 1 scoop (about 1/3 Cup)
- Cold brew concentrate: 1 cup (unsweetened, diluted per package instructions if needed)
- Organic coconut milk: 1 cup (full-fat for creaminess, or light for a lighter texture)
- Organic banana: 1, peeled and frozen (about 1/2 cup sliced)
- Organic walnuts: 1/4 cup, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
- Mesquite powder: 1 tsp (adds a warm, nutty flavor)
- Organic maple syrup: 1–2 tbsp (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes: 1–2 cups (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Slice and freeze the organic banana ahead of time (at least 2 hours) for a creamier texture. Chop organic walnuts and set aside a small portion for garnish.
- Blend the Base: In a high-speed blender, combine the Mikuna Chocho Superfood Protein, cold brew concentrate, organic coconut milk, frozen organic banana, organic walnuts, mesquite powder, and 1 tbsp organic maple syrup. Blend on medium-high speed for 30–45 seconds until smooth and frothy. Taste and add an additional 1 tbsp maple syrup if sweeter flavor is desired.
- Adjust Consistency: If the mixture is too thick, add more organic coconut milk, 1 tbsp at a time, and blend briefly until it reaches a pourable, creamy consistency.
- Serve: Fill two glasses with ice cubes. Pour the protein cold brew mixture evenly over the ice in each glass.
- Garnish: Sprinkle a pinch of chopped organic walnuts on top of each drink for added crunch and visual appeal.
- Enjoy: Stir gently and sip immediately for a refreshing, protein-rich coffee experience!
Tips
- For a stronger coffee flavor, increase cold brew concentrate to 1.25 cups and reduce coconut milk slightly.
- Swap organic walnuts for organic pecans or almonds for a different nutty profile.
- If mesquite powder is unavailable, substitute with a pinch of organic cinnamon or omit for a simpler flavor.
- Store any leftover mixture in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours; shake or blend before serving.
