Chocho Chipotle Crema
This chipotle crema is a creamy and savory spread for any occasion. Think ultimate umami sensation with a nutty hint and garlicky chipotle flavor. Made of pantry staples and using only a blender, this crema takes less than ten minutes to make and will add a pop of flavor to any dish. There are so many uses: as a dip for carrots or celery, spread thick on toast or dolloped inside your chocho tacos for a creamy addition, you really can't go wrong.
INGREDIENTS//
- 2 Cups Soaked Sunflower Seeds (soaked overnight and drained)
- 1 Cup Olive Oil
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
- 1/4 Cup Cider Vinegar
- ½ Cup Bragg Liquid Aminos
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1Tbsp Cumin
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 3 Chipotle Chilies
- 4 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
- 1/2 cup Mikuna Chocho Superfood Protein Original
METHOD//
Soak sunflower seeds overnight. When ready to make, drain and rinse seeds. Place them in a high speed blender with the rest of ingredients. Blend until smooth.
