Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake

As the weather gets cooler and the holidays approach, we love to find new ways to make our meals more festive and seasonal. This Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake is just that- a seasonal and festive shake perfect for breakfast, desert, or a pre or post workout snack. Made with just 6 ingredients (plus ice), this shake comes together in minutes and is the perfect way to sneak some nutrients (and festivity) into a rushed morning or between meetings. Just place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. You can top with coconut whipped cream for a more decadent treat or a sprinkle of cinnamon to keep it simple. Also great topped with a handful of your favorite granola, cacao nibs, coconut shreds, chopped walnuts, chia seeds, etc. Serve in a glass or pour it into a thermos to keep it cold for an on the go treat. INGREDIENTS//

  • 1 cup original unsweetened plant milk
  • ½ banana
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 4 tbsp Vanilla Chocho Superfood Protein
  • ⅛ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ⅛ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup ice

METHOD//

  1. Place your plant milk and pumpkin puree in a blender and blend
  2. Then add all of the rest of the ingredients (this helps prevent dry ingredients from sticking to blender)
  3. Blend everything until smooth and pour into a glass
  4. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and enjoy as a pre or post workout smoothie
